East End Planning Area Planning Document Review & Updates
The review process for the East End Planning Area Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw has been underway since it was initiated in 2022. The draft Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw were prepared based on input from the public, various stakeholder consultation, focus group meetings and comments from the East End Area Advisory Committee (EEAAC). The drafts are currently up for review by the public after having been approved by the EEAAC.

PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING
TAKE NOTICE that Public Information Meeting (PIM) sessions to inform residents of the East End Planning area about the proposed East End Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw will be held on October 16 and October 20, 2025. You are invited to attend and speak or ask questions concerning these proposed documents if you live in or own land in the East End Planning Area.
Meeting 1 (October 16, 2025)
Session 1: 10:00 am–12:00 pm; Session 2: 12:00 pm–2:00 pm; Session 3: 3:00 pm–5:00 pm; Session 4: 6:00 pm–8:00 pm

Public Feedback Request
Some of the draft policies and bylaw sections were identified by the Committee as needing extra public review. The purpose of the document below is to highlight those sections and provide a brief explanation of each for members of the community to review. These sections are in need of extra public feedback, both positive and negative, to ensure that they best align with the needs of the community and best support the future of the Planning Area. Please feel free to share your thoughts at the PIM sessions or via email by October 24, 2025, 12pm
