East End Planning Area Planning Document Review & Updates

The review process for the East End Planning Area Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw has been underway since it was initiated in 2022. The draft Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw were prepared based on input from the public, various stakeholder consultation, focus group meetings and comments from the East End Area Advisory Committee (EEAAC).

JANUARY 2026 (UPDATE)

TAKE NOTICE that the Municipal Council will hold a PUBLIC HEARING on its intention to adopt the East End Planning Area Secondary Planning Strategy and Land Use Bylaw. You are invited to attend and speak or ask questions concerning these proposed planning documents.

Time: 11:00 AM

Location: Municipal Administration Building, 752 St. George St., Annapolis Royal (Council Chambers)

 

Any interested persons who wish to speak on the matter are welcome to make respectful comments or express concerns and may register at the door prior to the meeting start time.

A copy of the proposed planning documents may also be viewed by visiting the Municipal Administration Building, 752 St. George St, Annapolis Royal weekdays, except public holidays, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or the Municipal Satellite Office, 291 Marshall Street - Unit 4, Middleton Wednesdays and Thursdays, except public holidays, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
