Due Dates & Penalties

The total amount billed must be paid by the due date to avoid interest charges. The interest is applied monthly to all outstanding taxes and sewer at a rate of 12% per annum, and 15% per annum for water. Tax/Sewer accounts two years in arrears are subject to Tax Sale Proceedings.

Annapolis County's fiscal year is April 1st to March 31st.

Tax Invoices are issued annually in May and are due and payable on or before June 30th.  

Sewer Invoices are issued annaully in April, and are due and payable on or before May 31st.  

Water Invoices are issued quarterly in January, April, July and October. The total amount billed must be paid within 30 days of issuance to avoid interest charges.
