Please be advised, the County of Annapolis has issued a mandatory evacuation order for West Dalhousie.

People are being evacuated along West Dalhousie Rd., civic addresses #4094 - #5315 in response to a wildfire in the area. Evacuees must go to the reception centre located at the Bridgetown Fire Hall at 31 Bay Road, Bridgetown,

Instructions:

• Take your 72-hour kit and critical items (meds, wallet, keys).
• Avoid the area if not affected.
• Call 1-833-806-1515 for info.
• Do not call 911 for updates.
• Stay tuned to local news and follow directions of local authorities.
• Alert in effect until further notice.

Be advised, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is the official source of information on wildfires – the size, status and resources being used to fight them. Their messages will be shared on other official government channels, including County of Annapolis socials.
